Dexter Winter Festival having fireworks
Wednesday, February 02, 2005
DEXTER - Fireworks are planned for the 5th Annual Dexter Winter Festival 2005 with a theme of "Super, Sizzling, Summer, Sensation", with the help of the Wassookeag Snowmobile Club and area businesses. This year the Town of Dexter elected to not assume the duty of putting on the winter fireworks display and the Wassookeag Snowmobile Club took it upon themselves to continue the tradition. They put a big portion of the money towards the fireworks and asked area businesses to help as well. If you would like to donate to the fireworks fund, you can do so by joining the club and a portion of the dues goes to the club and other great activities.

Participating businesses that either donated and/or joined the club to help with fireworks are:

AE Robinson Oil
Bailey Motors
Bangor Savings Bank
Beta Business Services
CM Ellms
Country Charm
Dexter House of Pizza
Dexter Lumber
Dexter Sunrise Kiwanis
